The cinematic trailer introduced Valorant Masters Bangkok, bringing together lore fans and pro scene enthusiasts with a piece that honoured iconic plays from past tournaments, while also giving glimpses of story beats and teasing the arrival of a new agent.
I had the honor of contributing to the project by blocking out animation and composition for a section of the trailer, my first time stepping into blocking, which I really enjoyed as an opportunity to explore something new. I also animated the credits and delivered the initial pass for the title cards.

Part 1 // Branding - Dawn of the Duelist

The first part of the branding established the visual language for the event, used across social media, promo assets, and in-game materials. It echoed the energy of the cinematic while standing strong as its own identity, drawing inspiration from both the event’s location and the upcoming agent, offering a subtle tease woven into the design.
I was part of the team exploring early R&D for how the campaign’s 3D assets could take shape. Once the look was defined, I focused on refining the assets I had created, developing their animation style, and building a process that could be easily replicated across deliverables. I handled the rendering and final delivery of these assets, providing the team with everything they needed on the 3D side.

Part 2 // Branding - Dawn Breaks

Part Two of the branding continued the visual story, evolving the look from the first phase while leaning further into the reveal of the new agent. This follow-up introduced new motion pieces and refinements, keeping the campaign fresh while staying connected to the identity we had established.
The look development for Part Two happened alongside the refinement process for Part One. We built on the stylization approach I had been exploring, growing the existing assets and breathing new life into them to better reflect the new agent, making it clear that while these two phases are connected, this was the next stage of the story.

Conclusion

It was a great experience contributing to such a large and creative project alongside the talented team at Massive Assembly. I learned a lot through the process and I’m grateful to have been part of bringing this campaign to life.
